marriage index mistake?-completed with thanks

Hi
    I sent away for this marriage certificate Henry Reardon and Elizabeth Anne Hughes = 1873 sep Qrt Neath VOL 11A PAGE 870.When it came it shows the year they got married was 1870. looks like a mistake.

Have you checked 1871 for the couple.

I have been unable to find any Henry or Harry Reardon in Wales  in 1871  and in 1881 there is only one and he is a widower age 43 born in Ireland.
But as you say the marriage is there in 1873

 If `whdsn `has the certificate with ages etc, it might be easier to track them down.
If  it not a  copy of the original entry , then I would ask for it to be checked.
