Roche of Kinsale newspaper archives

Hi there, I am searching for the Roche family of Kinsale around 1800.

I have a Katherin Roche with sisters Mary and Margaret and an unknown brother.
Katherin married George Munns in NY in 1805 aged at least 18.

I am hoping there may be something in Cork newspapers b4 1805 about them
as according to family diary Katherin and unknown brother were left extensive property in America by a paternal uncle. They set out for NY but the ship they were on was captured by the French. As they spoke fluent French they were kept aboard ship and treated well untill the ship was recaptured and they returned to Ireland.  However as they were feared dead due to not being found with the other passengers by the time they eventually made it to NY  the property had been placed in Court of Chancery. But they did get some of the inheritance Katherin got married and returned home to Kinsale.

Hopefully such an unusuall story would have been reported in the papers like the Mercantile or Examiner.

Any information on the Roche family of Kinsale at the time would be most helpfull.

Thank you
