George Baldock Tempsford 1861 Please

Hi,

Can anyone please lookup George Baldock b. 1793  in Tempsford in 1861.

In 1851 he was living in Langford End (Lane?), with his wife Elizabeth b. 1797 with children George b. 1837 and Thomas b. 1840.

I think George died in 1869 so should still be in Tempsford in 1861.

This is the only possible Thomas I could find,lodging with another member of the family?
Is it possible that he gave Dunstable as his place of birth? How near to Tempsford is it,note that the head of the house was born in what is supposed to say Tempsford.

Hi Carol,

Thanks very much for your help, I hadn't found these individuals and the info is very useful as it gives me a pointer as to where to look next.

Tempsford is not near Dunstable, but I wouldn't rule it out on those grounds alone. If Thomas' entry came at the end of a number of  family members born in Dunstable; the enumerator might have made a mistake (esp with his difficulty over "Temsfool"!)
