Hi,
Tom Buck (born 18 Jan 1863 Croxall, Derbyshire) was a sergeant with the 2nd and 9th Kings Royal Rifles. He died 20 Nov 1903 in Winchester, Hampshire (according to his death certificate he was with the 9th when he died). His widow, Harriett Buck nee Dicks, remarried in 1908 in Winchester to Arthur Allesandro Mundy.
On the 1911 index census in the same household as Arthur and Harriet is a child, Elizabeth Buck born 1903. The only birth reference I can find to try and order the certificate is 2nd qtr 1903 Knaresbro' 9a 102. What I wanted to try and find out is if the Kings Royal Rifles had a base in or near Knaresborough as the location doesn't make sense.
The two children immediately previous to Elizabeth were born in Mallow, Ireland and the earlier children were born in Devonport, Thorncliffe, Dublin and Gibraltar.
Just trying to avoid ordering the wrong certificate but I can't see an alternative.
Thanks,
Luzzu
