and on the next page living at "Half-way Cottage"

I think this is likely to be them in 1851

1851 Census Wales
Glamorgan, Llansamlet, District 4, page 11

George Truby 56 Labourer b West Hatch Somerset
Peggy Truby 46 wife b ditto
Ellen "" 18 daughter b ditto
Maryann "" 12 daughter b ditto
Jane "" 7 daughter b ditto
Hannah "" 4 daughter b ditto

Stoke St Mary and West Hatch are neighbouring villages in Somerset so that could explain the different birthplaces they gave.

You are too clever by half ;D ;D ;D

Well done.

My problem is I cannot seem to think "outside of the box" these days.

Thank you very much... that is most helpful.

Best wishes

You're very welcome Mark!

Sometimes it takes another person to look at what you're researching because it's so easy to become blinded by your own notes that you can miss possible routes through. I think that's what lovely about this forum - lots of people willing to have a go at each other's research and people are learning new things about their families all the time on here!

I completely agree.

There are lots of very helpful people... and I just love the photo restoration bunch... they are really very talented, have super sense of humour, and go the extramile every time.
