I found the attached cutting in a 1937 copy of Kelly's Directory of Barnet &c whilst scanning it to CD.

I don't know if it is of any use to anyone but thought I would add it just in case.

Graham, That's a very interesting cutting.
 The manufacture of canned food and the growth of railways in 19th C brought considerable changes to western countries.
