**COMPLETED** Plainfield Farm, Canford

I'm looking for any information at all about Plainfield Farm in the parish of Canford. One of my ancestors (Andrew Glass) is living in Plainfield Farm House on his own on the 1851 census - working as a Farm Bailiff - and it would be nice just to have a few more details about the place or area!

The Parish of Canford has decreased in size over the centuries and Plainfield Farm now seems to be a recreation ground off Lower Blandford Road, Broadstone.

The Dorset OPC site has some information regarding Canford parish:

Your ancestor has been transcribed as Andrew GLAPP on 1851 census.
