can someone please tell me if there used to be a parkers restaurant in  or around manchester in the 1930s please

1929 Manchester. Has this anything to do with your other post for King Edward V11?
Because this says LATE King edward V11, so would not be alive 1930's  ;D

1913 directory mentions the same details.

Yes that is correct, there were two Parker's Restaurants in Manchester, one in St Anne's Square and the other St Mary's Gate.

Thomas Parker was my Grandfather and my Father Colin Parker continued to run the restaurant until the early 1950's.

I am actually doing some research and trying to find any old photographs of the restaurant and area. Any information you can give me would be much appreciated.

Just a quick update for you, this post was originally posted in 2010.

It looks like lyndy has not been on since 2016 and Mygky is another who is no longer on Rootschat.
