Hi,

I would be grateful if anyone could spare the time to look at the following 1871 census page (Lincolnshire  > Corringham  > District 6 > 31) to give me their thoughts as to the birth place of Fanny Elwis please.  It looks like another word has been inserted in front of Corringham but I cannot work out what it is!

Somerby ?  Try looking at 1881 Census

Genuki - Corringham includes the hamlet of Somerby  :)

I was just about to change my post as having looked again it look like Somerby, which is close to Corringham.
