FamilySearch Pilot has the following baptism:

19th September 1784 - Catharine Newport, parents John & Susanna at Ham

Any good?

I'm not sure about this one as I have information from IGI that Catherine was born at Elham c.1782. I do note that the two places are only about 12 miles distant from each other.

There is no Catherine Newport c in Elham but the Newports are in many parishes in this area. This is a name I have a lot of info on and am looking now.

That IGI entry is submitted so should be treated with caution.  It's probably a guess based on when she married.

G'day Chatters,

Could a check be made please in the 1851 census for Catherine FOX nee NEWPORT for her age and place of birth. She could well be a widow by now.
Apparently in the '41 census her age was given as 55 but I realise that ages for adults were often rounded up or down.
Her husband's name was William.
