Pages of Amwell/Ware
« on: Wednesday 23 June 10 11:21 BST (UK) »
I would appreciate any help in tracing the following people.

Elizabeth Page (Barnard) c.1790-1854 Ware. She was the widow of James Page 1780-1834. I have her in 1851, rtd.Grocer with her daughters Sarah 1818, Jane 1823 and Elizabeth b.1829
If possible I would like to know where she was in 1841.

Elizabeth B. c.1829 deaf and dumb from birth.
1841 I believe I have found  in the Asylum for the deaf and dumb, Southwark, Surrey,
1851 with her mother and sisters, Ware. 21, u/m
1871 Visitor  in Holborn.
1881 Lodger, Church st, Lewisham.
Cannot find 1861

Jane b.1823.
1851 with mother and sisters Ware. 27,u/m
All I have found so far.

Sarah b.1818 also deaf and dumb from birth.
1851 with mother and sisters in Ware. 32,u/m
1871, lodger,dressmaker  in Lewisham.
1881 visitor at Hackney, where older sister Emma is a lodger.
Again 1841 & 1861 not found.

There was also another sister Ann c.1871 - not found.

James and Elizabeths other children - Eliza,Edward,Emma,Joseph and James I have knowledge of.

If anyone can help with any information at all I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks for your help,

Chooch.

1841 Census - HO107  435   3/45  14. Have you already discounted

Jane Page, age 21, Housemaid, born in County "Y"
Address - Water Row, Ware.
living with the Chuck family

It does not quite accord with an 1823 birth.

You mention "another sister Ann c. 1871". That date does not seem to fit with the rest of the dates in the post. But I noticed an Ann Page, age 19, Servant in hall (?) on the same Census page as the above Jane Page.

regards
