help with William Turner
« on: Sunday 27 June 10 17:49 BST (UK) »
Hi everybody :-)

I'm looking for the birth of William Turner who married in 1769 in Caversham Oxfordshire. He wasn't born in Caversham. I have found a few William's born in Berks, and the most promising is William Turner,( son of WilliamTurner and Mary Moreby) bp in Tilehurst Berks on 22 April 1742.

Tilehurst is just a stone's throw from Caversham, but I'm looking for some more substantiating evidence that he's my William. Does anyone see a death for a William Turner in Tilehurst between 1742 and 1769 that looks like his? If he died as a child then of course he wouldn't have gotten married in Caversham :-)

thanks for the help!!
