General Lookup

Hello everyone, i'm new to this so apologise if i'm asking the wrong questions or in the wrong place.

I am trying to research James Youle b. 1811 in Wellingborough, I believe he married Sarah Denton in 1835 but would love to confirm this.  I have census records and death records but would love to know if anyone has access to birth or christening records as I haven't been able to go any further back than James.  He worked as a sexton in his later life - i believe at All Hallows.
Any help very much appreciated!

I don't know if you have tried these already but the IGI http://www.familysearch.org/eng/default.asp and free reg http://www.freereg.org.uk/cgi/Search.pl might have what you are looking for, sorry I didn't look them up for you but thought they might be handy resources for you to have access to.

My word guys, thank you sooo much!!

Can I just ask what the NM Index is and is it something i can view?...... ignore me Northamptonshire Marriage Index - should have looked properly!
