Kellys of rochestown
« on: Friday 02 July 10 06:27 BST (UK) »
I was checking my great grandfathers background when i found a nephew of his living with his mother. He had two sisters who do not appear in the 1911 census or in the country. have tried variants of both names etc one may of married but the other who was 17 doesn't exist in 1911.
I checked the local industrial school lists but she does not appear there either. I would like to find out what happened to her in particular as opposed to the older sister who was 23 so most likely have married. The child's name of this girl is Laurence Garman possibly Gorman and was born 1910.
Would love if someone could help me.

According to the 1911 census Bridget Kelly had 8 children all of whom were still alive-

What are the names and ages of the 'missing' daughters?
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Anastacia would have been 23 and Margaret would have 17 at the time of the 1911 census. I found out today that all moved to America except my great granfather William. Also another girl my gran called Ellen is missing from the census she was Williams sister. I do not know her age etc but she was the last to leave for America.
