Hi folks

Could anyone with access to Swansea marriages help with a lookup please?  The FreeBMD entry is too fuzzy to make out the details so perhaps fresh eyes or someone with access to other records could help :-)

The marriage of interest is for my gr-aunt - Bronwyn Anne Williams. I have located BMD for birth which seems to fit -- Q4, 1908, Pontypridd, 11a/708.

I have found a marriage entry which looks promising in FreeBMD but the page number is way wrong -- Q3 1934, Swansea, 11a/8586 to spouse named 'Ross' - I can't find corresponding detail for any Ross that fits, nor can I locate that page number so am stuck. I'm not even 100% certain this is the right entry but it's the only one I've found to-date and am open to alternative suggestions.

There's another sister too, Elizabeth Gwendoline Williams - but there's so many similar names that I haven't been able to identify any birth or marriage BMD to move forward that way and there's no-one left on that side of the family who can shed any light on possibilities.  If anyone is able to check this possibility, and let me know possible ages or father that would be wonderful --

           Q2 1942 - Williams, Elizabeth G   to  Morgan, David    Llanelly    11a   / 2900

Both 'Bromnivan' and 'Elizabeth Gwendoline' appear on the 1911 census as having been born in Clydach Vale and are shown as living at 59 Park Street, Clydach Vale [RG14PN32370 RG78PN1853B RD589 SD4 ED42 SN175] with their mother Emily and brother 'Limnal' [actually William Lemuel Williams - my grandfather],

Their father - William Williams - is not enumerated with them on the 1911 nor could I identify him on the 1901 census and with such a common name, I'm doubting I'll find him easily!

Any help most appreciated.

cheers
Lynda

Well, successfully located sister Bronwyn and her husband thanks to Dazey.

Is anyone able to shed any light on any details of this possibility I found for her sister?  If there is a parish record, would it give any indication of any ages for the bride and groom, or names of any witnesses?

Q2 1942 - Williams, Elizabeth G   to  Morgan, David    Llanelly    11a   / 2900

Cheers
Lynda
