Can anyone advise the date of the picture and the approx age of my Great Grandad Robert Jones?

If it helps, I understand he was born 1872 and died 1930 ...

JUst re-opening this in case someone can help as go tno joy last time.  Would anyone be able to give an approx age of my GG Granddad  in this pic based on his clothes?

Can't do date from his clothes (not an expert) but I think he's in his early thirties.  Few llines round the eyes, aren't there  ;)

Hmm...I'd say that his suit is post-Edwardian and looks to me to be probably from the 1910s or 1920s, which seems about right as I would guess the man is somewhere between his mid-thirties to mid-forties.
