Hamilton/Fraser/Galt or Gault

I am trying to find any information on my GG/Grandparents.   Samuel Hamilton from Donegal and Ellen Fraser from Fermanagh. Samuel,s Father was Andrew Hamilton and his mother was Annie McGill. I do not have any info of parents of Ellen. They had four children. Margaret 1838 Andrew Anna Maria 1842 and Ellen Sarah 1846 Imy G/Grandmother) It appears that Ellen must have died and he then married Jane Galt or Gault. They had a daughter Jane Eliza in 1848. The family emigrated to Australia in 1852 and settled in Victoria. Samuel died in 1878 aged 78. Can find no info on death of Ellen or Jane.

Hoping someone can help with any bit of information

There are a lot of Hamiltons who were landowners in Donegal. One of the Hamilton families lived in Brownhall Demense. They are listed on the 1901 & 1911 census of Ireland. Not sure if this is same family you are looking for. Family of this name are still living in Brownhall Demense.

Just found out today that Samuel Hamilton was from Tullyown, near St John's Town County Donegal. Also in one of his notices for his death in 1877, it states that he was from Londonderry. I don't know if this bit of info helps in anyway. When he migrated to Australia he paid for himself and family to come out so he must have had a bit of money. Hope someone has any info.
