Archibald Rutherford

I am hoping someone can help me trace ARCHIBALD RUTHERFORD

The only information i have is from his marriage certificate, Archibald Rutherford married Hannah Smith in January 1944 at North Cave, York, Yorkshire. His age was given as 34 so born 1909, profession - R.A. (i assume royal artillery) and his father was John Rutherford  (Labourer). A year after the marriage Archibald and Hannah went their separate ways.

i have searched the English and Scottish records for his birth, the couple i did find fit in one way but dont in others. E.g age right but father wrong or Age right but died before date of marriage
Smith, Elliott, Newbury/Newberry, Boswell, Rutherford, Gray, Mobbs, Heron/Hearn

I havent ruled out Archibald Murray Rutherford but i can only find one Archibald Rutherford (no middle name) in the 1911 census that was aged 1 and if he is Archibald Murray Rutherford then the father doesnt match.

Yes Archibald was a batchelor when he married Hannah
Smith, Elliott, Newbury/Newberry, Boswell, Rutherford, Gray, Mobbs, Heron/Hearn
