Can't find marriage certificate for William Little

Please can anyone help me find a marriage certificate for William Little.  I am reliably informed that he married Janet Clark in September 1931 in Saltcoats.  (They are now both deceased)  I have looked on Scotlands People and tried every permutation I can think of but no luck   Any suggestions very welcome.

Can't see the marriage entry on SP easily either. Do you know when William/Janet died? It would be worth trying their death entries on the SP indexes to reveal any middle names, etc (and approximate birth years) that could help find a marriage.

Many thanks for looking.  At the moment I don't know when they died but have found William's birth 10 May 1906 at Lochmaben.  Janet was born c1905 in Glasgow - found rather a lot them

Will try and find their deaths and let you know.  Their first child was born 1933 in Alloway - still alive.

Could this be Janes death on SP
 1986 LITTLE    JANET HAWKES BR    Not Permissible    CLARK F 80 PRESTWICK /SOUTH AYRSHIRE 675/00 0201 No Image ORDER .    Age is about right making her born about 1906. 
No luck either on marriage or death of William Little.

Have found marriage.
615/00//0043 23 September 1931, Stevenston
William Frame Little and Janet Brown Clark.
I searched on surname Clark and  First name jan* Brown
No wonder it was difficult to find  -  the name Little is missing on the marriage search returns,  only the female name showing.  I would write to SP for all your marriage searches under Little and ask for a refund on those searches.

You are wonderful   I don't know how you did it but many many thanks.  Will have to confirm with family re the deaths but I'm sure you are right.

William's birth certificate only showed one christian name.

Will try SP for a refund because I did spend quite a few credits looking for the marriage - thanks for the suggestion.
