marriage certificate help please

hi
i want to send for a marriage certificate which was found on ancestry search records
 george rich and catherine roper,
married 1908 oct-dec, qrt. v3 page 7
roscommon or westmeath
ireland,
would anyone have the address of the register office i would need to send for it please.
and how much is a marriage certificate,
i am not sure why they would have put roscommon or westmeath,
any help would be appreciated

I presume you mean you found the references on the familysearch Irish BMD Index ?

When you are ordering a cert you need to include the registration district (Athlone), and for all counties send the details of your order to the GRO - see : Ordering Certs from GRO Roscommon

The reason the familysearch index had 'Roscommon or Westmeath,' is the registration district covers areas in both counties.

The other bit of information from the civil index which you omitted to post is Athlone registration district.
