1841/51 CENSUS JAMES & DAVID
« on: Thursday 31 March 05 15:15 BST (UK) »
I have traced my ancestors back to working at St Fagans but would like some information regarding their partners.  James James (christian name and surname the same) b1806 was the shoemaker at St Fagans, he married Sarah David (also recorded as Davis, Davies).  I need any information on the James or David family.  James' dad was Stephen James.  I think Sarah had an elderly relative living with her as well.

Many thanks.

Thank you very much for this information.  With regard to James' father Stephen I got his father's name from the marriage certificate for James & Sarah.  I don't have an age for Stephen but now I know he come from the Somerset area I can do some searching.

Many thanks

Lindy
