Hello

I wonder if anyone would be able to check a marriage which is listed on Familysearch's records.

It took place in Pennington on 20 October 1796 and was between William Tarent and Hevler Hardiman.

I am looking for a candidate who could have been a widow named Hester Tarrant who married William Hebbard in 1808, and I am wondering if the Hevler is a mistranscription (I can certainly imagine that it could look like Hevler with a few pen marks missing).

It would be good to finally put this little family mystery to bed

20OCT1796 WILLIAM TARENT TO HESTER HARDIMAN at MILFORD.

I think this ties up nicely with the Hester Tarrant, widow, I've been trying to find for years.
