Daniel PARTRIDGE & Hannah HORTON West Bromwich
« on: Monday 19 July 10 15:08 BST (UK) »
It's a few years since I was here...couldn't get back into my old user name (forgot password and changed email!) so now I'm mark II.
You were all so helpful before so I thought maybe someone can help me find a marriage
( or  birth) for Daniel Partridge and Hannah Horton.  I have no idea of the parents of either of them but they would have married sometime around 1833/34.  Eldest daughter Sarah was born  1835. She and her sister Zillah and brother Silas (or Silox) were christened in All Saint West Bromiwich.  I would suppose that the parents may have also married there.  Actually, I'm not sure if Zillah WAS christened there, or at all. She;s not on IGI that I've been able to find. altho she IS on the westmidlands BMD.
Is this an ask beyond reason?  I just don't know how I go about finding out things before 1837!
With bated breath I wait

 Sorry Elena,

I think I may have found them in 1841 census, if that's any help.

Thank you Jackie,
I think I may have something from the 1841 census that some kind souls found for me a million years ago when I was looking for grgrma Zillah, but if you have access to the '41 maybe you could have a squizz for me in the surrounding couple of pages and see if there are any other partridges , hortons or stantons nearby?  I've noticed in other censuses, that often there are relatives living close by .  Might be some clues there.  That's if you have the time and inclination.
regards
ELena

Thank you for deviating to other things for me Jackie, I appreciate your efforts. Joseph could well be a brother, living next door and a miner. Daniel was a tinner when Zillah was born.
I won't take up any more of your time.
Just have to find out now how I get hold of parish records pre 1837. sigh! :)
Thank s again
