Harrolds in Maidstone & Boxley
« on: Tuesday 20 July 10 00:22 BST (UK) »
I have been able to locate my family first in Boxley then in Maidstone.  I would like to know how to track my family before they were in Boxley.  The only info I have is William Harroll (Harrol, Harrold) married first Frances Fleet in July 9, 1780 in Boxley. But I do not know his parents and where they all came from.  What records are out there to go back further?
I have been in the parish records and of coarse the spelling keep changing but I have ran cold now.  I would appreciate any help
John George Harold, Arthur Albert Harold, Harriette Leggatt, Charles Harold in England, Scotland & Wales.  John George Harold was a Sargent Major with the 16th Lancers.  So they moved often.

Have you seen the original marriage for William HARROLD 1780 ie. is there a parish of residence given and/or are there any clues in the names of the witnesses?  Also, do you have a burial for William to perhaps give an age thus approximate year of birth?
