I'm looking to establish any information for a John Donohoe (born c 1816 but where? - died Glasgow 1863) who was listed as a Butter Merchant in Navan, Co. Meath around the mid 1850's. He married Jane Maguire - but where and when?

He had a brother - Christopher (who was married to Catherine Dunne in Thomastown, Kilkenny in 1832). His father was Michael and mother was Julia Mangin.

Does anyone know of this family?
Donohoe's (Fruit Merchants) in Ireland and latterly Glasgow
John in Navan, Co. Meath; Christopher in Dublin
Also related to Morgan family (Fishguard and Cardiff, Wales); Kennetts (London) Moyse (Suffolk and South London)

Did John and Jane have any children born in Scotland? Scottish birth records usually list date and place of parents'marriage.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

I only know of one child - my great grandfather Michael Joseph - but he was born in Ireland in 1846. Both John and Michael ended up living and dying in Glasgow but none of the Scottish records list their place of birth - only "Ireland".
