As Salford is a big area to search, can you advise what information you have found from other census records. If you give addresses, names and ages this will give an idea where to start looking and how best to help.

As Dinkey says you need to provide more specific names/dates/addresses, etc so someone can try to help.
Pearson in Salford really is too vague.  Its a very common name.
To give you some idea, I have 3 different Pearsons who have married into different parts of my tree who, at this stage, appear unconnected.
If you can give more info I'm sure someone here can help you

Hi

My great grandfather was Daniel Pearson LEES, born in Worsley in 1875. Family lore has it he was named after the local doctor to whom his father Edwin was coachman.

I have just found a likely entry for Dr Pearson in 1871 and wondered whether anyone out there could tell me more about him.

1871 – Henry PEARSON H M 35 M.R.C.S. Eng L.S.A. Genl Practner Lancs Salford
Harriet Jane W M  20 Surgeons wife , Lancs Newton Heath
Louisa Theresa Mother W 69 Annuitant Yorkshire Hull
Servants Alice Weaver Johnson and Fanny Tildsley. In Burying Lane Worsley, 3 pages and 13 households away from Edwin and Alice. In 1861 He is 23, at home in Chorlton upon Medlock with parents John, wool merchant from Liverpool and mother Louisa from Hull.

1871 - Edwin LEES   Head   M   22 Coachman and domestic servant Manchester
Alice LEES   Wife   M   21 Cotton Winder, Levenshulme, Lancashire,
At (187) Watson Street, Worsley.

Thanks

Hi Mark,

I think I am probably one of the relatives you are looking for.  My Great Grandmother was called Ann Pearson, she was the daughter of John Pearson and Sarah Ann Walters and the sister of HENRY, James and Sarah Jane.  I think your Henry was my Ann's brother, what you state about siblings/parents ties in with the details I have.  Although there are a couple of things that are incorrect.  Please contact me and I will pass on the information I have about the family Henry left in Salford. :)

Hi Mark

Just joined site and saw your post about the Pearsons in Salford.

I have a branch of Pearsons who lived in Cow Lane in several census. Can you give me any more details and i'll check my records.  I haven't been able to find any other Pearson connections

Regards

Jean .

Hi

Just got your message.  I don't know a lot about my Pearsons
Do you have any more details.  Who was William's father and have you any dates.

I have Richard Pearson 1815 ish who married Rachel Barlow.  They had a son called John(1853) but i do not know who he married but i have a daughter for him called Ann. (1886)

Does it ring any bells
