hello, any one looking up the mara family from mountwilson? my great grandfather andrew mara grew up there.he was born around 1888 to john and margaret mara. he had 8 siblings mary, willie, john, thomas, james, patrick and i think the other was daniel who lived with his grandad also in mountwilson according to the 1901 census. any information on the family or area would be much appreciated. thanks a million

has an O Mara from Mountwilson, Edenderry,
Have a look and see if the family is related.
For the origin of it's name we must look to Thomas Wilson, a Quaker, of Mount Wilson, near Edenderry.
