Her father William would be on marriage cert - sometimes but not always 'deceased' was written after the name.

1. William John born 26 Dec.1874 (page 157 in civil register)- above record
2. Isabella born 27 Sept.1876 Co.Donegal
3. Margaret born 5 June 1878 Co.Donegal

Thank you for all your help, I now need to work on these dates you have given me.
Do you know if Ballylawn, Castlecarey is near Tullynavin? Sarah married in 1908 and her second child was born in Castlecarey and I wondered if the Carlands who lived here (Castlecarey ) may have been related to her.

Are you sure it's Castlecarey? I can't find that as a townland in either 1911 census or www.thecore.com/seanruad.
