I have not been able to progess this. I have verified this family line from UK records back to James Samuel Winter  b 1843/44 in St.Johns. Family Search has the father of James Samuel as John b 1827 Green Turtle Bay Bahamas which would have John's age 16-18 at James'birth. I searched their film records and the info. on John was collected from a family member so it may be a genuine link but I cannot get further verification. Antigua Archives could not find any records. All info that I have is related to James Samuel WINTER....I would willingly share with you, but could you please search the Records for Birth of this man at your side of the water.

The Records office in Antigua & Barbuda could not find the Birth....maybe you, as a local, could look into this.
