marriage to Rachel Davies 29/9/1831 in Llangunnor. You can get a copy of the parish entry from the archives in Carmarthen. Names of witnesses may help to trace family.

Thankyou for that. I live in Yorkshire so cannot visit the archives. I am looking for Daniel's parents as I am stuck on them. Or Rachel's parents if possible.

you don't need to visit the archives to get a copy, email them & enquire about a postal service. You have date & place so it doesn't count as a research question.  There's no IGI batch for Llangunnor,so do you have access to an LDS centre where you can order the film of the Bishops Transcripts. Bear in mind, it's possible that they were non-conformist, so there will be no pairsh baptisms.
