Thanks for all your help.... I didn't think any of this was possible.

The listing as grandmother had me beat for ages.... I'm not convinced
that she is any relation.

It will give me something to chew over...

Unless James and family move in with Grandma, taking over the residence in exchange for looking after her in her declining years?   Where was james before that?   hmmmm

Need to work backwards with Sarah

In 1871 Sarah Halls 74 is in Waltham - head of household with 49yr old unmarried son George and a lodger
RG10 Piece 1346 Folio 74 Page 6

1861 she is Hall with husband William and son George plus 2 lodgers
RG9 Piece 801 Folio 76 Page 8


Can't see an 1851 entry at the moment


Is this the same George as quoted above?

Who are the two grandsons?  Would someone be able to check this for me?.
I am am intrigued to know more about John And Sarah above.
