I am looking info on a Neal Coyle he may also have spelt it Neil. He joined RIC donegal at the age of 18 in 1863 which would make it 1845 or atheir abouts. He married a Johanna from tipperary and had four children he served in Armagh, Meath and several other places. He is burried in Belfast and retired after 30 years service. Any Help Appricated

Neal Coyle married Johanna Long, Jan - Mar 1885 in Dublin South.

Family in Dublin 1901

Johanna died Oct - Dec 1910 Belfast

Family in Belfast 1911

Thankyou for the reply, would you be able to obtain any further information for me. I know she came from Thurles tipperary and he came from Donegal, where in Donegal I don't know.

sorry I am trying to work how you determined it was johanna long as I checked family search their is a johanna long who died in Thurles in 1910 at age 85

It wasn't me that found the marriage in the index but by searching for groom's details and then bride (in this case with the first name, event, place and date) it would be possible to get matching details.
If Johanna was married at the time of her death the registration would be in her married name not her maiden name.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!
