Gorman Coatbridge

Hello All
I have been trying to find out about my paternal family.
My Grandfathers name was Robert Gorman.
My G Grandfather was David Gorman who Married Mary Lavery.
My GG Grandfather was John Gorman who married Mary Patterson (both deceased by 1919).
My GGG Grandfather was Patrick Gorman who married Ann Virtue/Voitue.
I cannot find any birth records for Patrick or his wife any ideas ??

I found a birth for a William Gorman born to Patrick G and Ann Virtue,  I can't find William in 1881 census, he either died brfore 1881 or the family moved out of Scotland.  The only Patrick and Ann Gorman (born Paisley) I can find were living in Govan in 1881 with a son Joseph age 8
I did find a Patrick Gorman age 23 (1861 names index) living in Old Monklands, he was born in Ireland, no other Gorman names above or below him  There were also a few Virtues in 1861 but no Ann, nearest I got was Mairianna, which I guess could be shortened to Ann   born Ireland, aged 12 living in Blantyre, Lanarkshire

William's birth cert, would give you his parents date of marriage if you don't have it and also their ages.
