Hi again, Sybil, I just noticed that we have a few names in common.....I have McPhail, a few Mackenzes, Stewarts and Bruce 's from Orkney
My half cousin, Flossie, married Don. MacPhail ,who was born on the Isle of Mull, My Stewarts are from Glassary, Argyll & Cambusnethan, Lanark, and MacKenzies from Lochbroom R&C....I wonder if we have a few connections.......
My first husband was related to Samuel Bruce, who came out to Australia in 1880.
Let me know if any of yours could be connected!!!
