St John the Baptist, Irlam
« on: Monday 09 August 10 07:26 BST (UK) »
I know that the graveyard is grassed over at St John the Baptist, Irlam but does anyone know if anyone transcribed the gravestones before and if so where I could access the information?

Cheers

Hi,

There before the graves were grassed over the headstones were transcribed, this is available at Irlam Library, let me know who you are looking for and I will check it out for you if you don't live nearby, I live in Irlam.

Regards

Vicky

Thanks for the offer but I only live in Walkden so I'll pop down one day to have a look.

No problem, it's in a bound book along the back / side wall with the census's, if you change your mind just let me know I go ever couple of weeks or so anyway so it's no trouble  :)
