Hi Mike,

Once again local knowledge comes to the rescue. Think the entry is Bishops Blaize Yard.

I think I have picked up George and Family in the 1841 census

Nottingham St Mary's

Geo Harding M 37 Shoe Maker (Not of this county)
Eliz -th F 28 (not of this county)
Selina F 2 (not of this county)
Jho M 1 (not of this county)

The entry might be an institution, not sure perhaps someone might verify?

Ref' is - H0107 Piece 870 Book 2 Folio 37 Page 4

ATB - Mark

I thin the entry is "66 Mount ? St" but in faint but clear writing on the left it does say "Inmates".
Warner, Owen, Putt, Mynett, Wickwar, Norman, Wheeler, Gray, Cooke, Dewick, Holmes, Lawson, Granger, Queenan, Weston, Wesson, Brewin, Cartwright, Heathcote, Heathcoat, Felkin, Morley, Hallam, Wootton, Adkin, Shepshed, Loughborough, Leicester, Philadelphia, Ontario, Nottingham,

Hi Dave,

Likewise.

Last one for tonight. I noted that the George Hardin Elizabeth Johnson plot in Welford Road also include 4 people with the surname Cheney. There is a BMD entry for a Selina Harding / Edward Cheney marriage in Leicester Q2 1857 7a 292.

All the best - Mark

Thanks mark,
I'll add this to the pile!

I have just realised that I am not receiving notice of all the postings to threads I have started - only for some subsequent posting.

Thanks again.
Dave
