Hunt family at Keyston
« on: Tuesday 10 August 10 11:51 BST (UK) »
We have spent a long time researching our family tree but have now hit a fairly solid wall.
So far we have traced our tree back to 1727 but are struggling to get further.

The missing link is a birth record for a Thomas/George Hunt born 1690 - 1710.

So far the information we have on him is as follows.

On the 3rd April 1727 he married Elizabeth Scotney in Nassington, Northamptonshire.
He died on the 6th December 1771 in Nassington
His first child was born on the 1st November 1728 in Nassington
And his last child was born on the 16th March 1751 in Nassington

We are unsure as to whether he was called Thomas or George.
On his first child's birth record he was called George but on his marriage record he has the name George crossed out and Thomas written above.

I have found that there are hunts living in Keyston around the same time, but i am unable to get the the Huntingdonshire records office anytime soon.  If someone could spare some time to have a quick check i would be very greatful.

Thanks
