how about this one - from the extracted births on familysearch :

 Name: Michael Moriarty
 Birth Date: 04 Dec 1872
 Birthplace: Killorglin, Kerry
 Father's Name: Jeremiah Moriarty
 Mother's Name: Mary Riordan

it should be possible to locate a corresponding civil index ref. to order a full cert.

If Michael's age turns out to be a little bit out on the census, then there are two other possibilities :

 Name: Michael Moriarty
 Birth Date: 06 Jan 1870
 Birthplace: Kerry
 Father's Name: Jeremiah Moriarty
 Mother's Name: Bridget Barrett

 Name: Michael Moriarty
 Birth Date: 09 Aug 1874
 Birthplace: Kerry
 Father's Name: Jeremiah Moriarty
 Mother's Name: Mary Grady
 Reference Number: p 324

It may be possible to confirm which is correct by checking the potential birth certs Jeremiah's occupation on the marriage cert.

One of the extracted records for Michael with parents Jeremiah and Mary has a reference number of 488. This is usually a register page number, but I'm not seeing any matches for that on the civil BMD index at the moment (There are quite a few possible births with that name in Co. Kerry in 1872)

Based on the marriage for the couple on the Irish Genealogy Website, this appears to be a cross match in the civil index for the civil marriage of Michael & Margaret :

 Name: Michael Moriarty
 Registration District: Tralee
 Event Type: Marriage
Quarter and Year: Apr - Jun 1899
 volume : 5 / page: 347

 Name: Margaret Murphy
 [same index details]

A civil marriage cert will give some additional details compared to the parish record - e.g. father's occupations, and possibly a slightly more detailed address.
