when reading about the thread of good wishes for the NZ earthquake I read:
Re: CHCH chatters are u OK?
Have been watching it on T.V all morning, never thought it would happen in Christchurch, have heard from some rellies in Christchurch and they all seem to be safe. Hope all the RC are safe and hope to see you all online again soon.
Posted by jericho (and I sent PM to say I was quoting it here)

I stupidly thought why would someone be more interested in the Roman Catholics than anyone else only later when I read RCers I thought Root Chatters and thought what an idiot I am - I have read one too many old records

You are addicted when you make a yearly trip to Salt Lake city to the family history library there.  I am off again this year...

Cheers

It is my yearly holiday. I drive down with a group of friends from Canada.  It takes us 2 days of driving to get there but we stop lots otherwise we could get there sooner.  Out of the group I am the only one doing UK research  (as I was born there) everyone else is doing Canada and the US.

Must say that the British floor is not as busy as the other floors so have no problem getting a film reader or computer...

Redroger.  My wish to to make another trip over to Uk, as I would love to do more research over there. Fingers crossed we may get there next summer.

Cheers

Given how addicted we all are perhaps if you need some spadework doing you can ask us to start it before you get over here...
