Help to decipher Welsh place name -- COMPLETED, thanks
« on: Friday 13 August 10 13:42 BST (UK) »
Help to decipher Welsh place name please.

Here are two documents refering to the same person, albeit ten years between each document.

The transcript for the 1st doc reads,  "Wareham, Denbighshire, Wales",  but I can't find a Wareham on a map.

The transcript for the 2nd doc reads,  "Brinham, Wales",  but I can't find a Brinham on a map either.

I think Wrexham for the first...
CRUST - Kent (Kingsnorth, Mersham)
BEATON - Isle of Mull
GODDEN - Ruckinge, Kent

I totally agree with Wrexham for the first doc.
If Gortonboy says Beresham I will bow to his knowledge.

Take it from a local girl - it's spelled Bersham  :D

Added - but I wonder if it's really Bryn<somethng> - spelled on the census as Brin....

There are quite a few Bryn.... around the Wrexham area  :)
