Miskellys of County Antrim/Down

Struggling to find anything on the following tree.  This is what I have to date

Henry MISKELLY married Agnes Unknown and had a son Patrick bn abt 1848, County Down.

Patrick MISKELLY, a flax spinning master 1901/1911 censuses married Margaret McGURK  27 Oct 1883 St. peter's, Belfast.  Margaret was the d/o Edward McGURK and Rose MURRAY bn abt 1854 Saintfield,  County Down.

Patrick and Margaret had 8 children bn around Belfast
Agnes and Rose (twins) bn abt 1884
Edward? who died as a child
Jane bn 1889
Henry bn 1891 (a butcher in 1911 census)
Patrick bn 1892
John bn 1895
Margaret bn 1897

Patrick MISKELLY bn 1892  married Gertrude Norah FERGUSON abt 1928 (d/o Lawson Leo FERGUSON and Margaret LYNAGH).  Gertrude was bn abt 1901 Belfast and was a hairdresser like her father.

Patrick MISKELLY and Gertrude FERGUSON had 4 children
XXXX bn Ballygowan? 1928
XXXX bn abt 1931 USA
and 2 others

Lawson FERGUSON had spent some time in USA as did his daughter Gertrude and son in law Patrick MISKELLY.
Partick and Gertrude were there between 1930 and 1934.  I have the appropriate passenger lists.

ANY help would be most welcom.  I have tried the LDS Pilot sites etc 1901 census 1911 census and ancestry.co.uk for any glimmer of information

Hi,
   19 Apr 1845 Henry Miskelly married NANCY Roney in Killinchy Church of Ireland, Newtownards, Co. Down. Groom's father is not listed bur bride's was Robert Roney. I believe that Nancy is short for of Agnes.

Thank you for that.  i know Miskelly origins are in Newtonards but none in my tree to date.  Not sure of Nancy though.  I thought it was a derivative of Ann?  It is the only Henry Miskelly I can find though. 

The only Agnes with a Miskelly husband was one married to William Miskelly.  Any thoughts?

I've seen the research site and haven't fuound anything conclusive but may have to consider the other site and possibly purchase the 1847 marriage

Henry Miskelly married 19 Apr. 1845 at Killinchy, Co.Down to Nancy Rooney. Nancy/Agnes/Anne and even Hannah are interchangeable.

I think you are married to my Cousin Ian Miskelly, whose father was Patrick (Paddy) Miskelly from Gloucestershire, Ian's mother was called Colette, you're talking about my Mother Jean, Paddy's sister and her parents on this thread.

My Grandad (Patrick) married my Nan (his Second Wife) Gertrude Ferguson, (whose Father was called  Lawson Ferguson (Belguim) a wigmaker/Hairdresser as was my Nan,  My Nan and Grandad had 4 children, * they all came home from New York in 1933 to return to Waterford where * was born * 7 years later.

I do have photo's but can't put my hand on them at the minute...

By the Way there has been a family tree done by My mum's cousin we have a copy of it should you require further information on it....
