Dorothy Goodson b Mar 1807 New Sleaford Lincs - Completed
« on: Sunday 15 August 10 09:00 BST (UK) »
This lady is very difficult to find. I have her birth, and her christening (20 March 1807 New Sleaford) and then the only place I can find her in on the 1861 Census, aged 54, a Retired Governess. Where was she the rest of the time? The story is supposed to be that she had a small school with either as sister or sister in law, and never married.

Any help gratefully received.
regards
Jan

Thanks Excel and Evie
I didn't think to change the dates - not too bright sometimes!!

Geoff
Thanks for that - especially the marriage of Elizabeth to Bryan Cartwright - I've trying to sort them out for ages!!

Evie - is the puppy a Border Terrier?

Thanks so much to you all
