Marriage of Page (Completed)

Is anybody able to look up the marriage of a George W Page and a Laura E M Stallard to find the father of george .  I have three Oxfordshire discs but not the one for the Chipping Norton area.  The reason being I have the banns for a George woolgrove Page 20/27 dec. 1914 3rd Jan 1915 but the wife to be is Laura Elizabeth Marion of St James the Leas Plymouth and I cannot find the marriage.  I have found the birth of there son Robert George Stallard Page .  I have found a marriage on the BMD site of a George W Page and a Laura E M Stallard Quarter June 1915 Chipping Norton and I am sure it is them but I would if possible like to have it confirmed .  Why on the birth and banns they didn't put Stallard I don't know (if her maiden name was Stallard that is)

The father of my George is Jonas.

Checked the registers for George Page and Laura Stallard.

No Page/Stallard marriage bewteen 1911 - 1920 Chipping Norton
No Page baptism between 1912 - 1920
No details in the Index either.

There was just one George WUSTON Page who married in 1917 but that was to a Bessies Lardner.
Expanded my search to cover neighbouring parishes -
Churchill 1901 - 1919 - Nothing

Can carry on next time I'm there, unless you have anymore info that would help.

That is very kind of you to go to the trouble of searching for me but I feel you will be for ever more searching as there are a lot of towns and villages in the district of Chipping Norton.

I was wondering if somebody had a cd which contained the district of Chipping Norton so as they could have a look on it but if you are willing to have another look when you are able to I will be very grateful and if I do find the answer to my queery in the meantime I will contact you.

I had forgotten to state that the banns were read in South Newington which is not in the Chipping Norton district and there is no marriage there.

Just to let you know that somebody put a message on my tree which is on Ancestry with the marriage.  They wed on 7th April 1915 in Shipton-under-Wychwood so my suspicions were correct.  Thankyou once again for your time.

Their Banns were read at South Newington on 14/21/28 March 1915.
