caroline H Boston disappears after 1911
« on: Monday 16 August 10 23:22 BST (UK) »
Hi
My relative  Caroline Helen Boston seems to disappear after the 1911 census. She was living at Norma Rd Waterloo, but no sign of her after this date, She would have ben 61 then. Ive tried to find a death with no luck. What other avenues could there be? She
does not appear to emigrate either.
One very stuck Ben!

Wrong entry

If she was 60 in 1911 - that would make her 80/81 in 1931

The 1911 index has a Caroline Boston aged 55 living in Manchester which fits in better with a 1931 death

Caroline Boston was a widow in 1911. She was born in 1850 in Cawthorne, Yorkshire. Cant see that she would emmigrate or remarry?
It seems odd that there is no death recorded

Ben

Hello
One very,very long shot ???
A Caroline M. BOSTON marries a William HARRIES Dec 1923 in Halifax.
Could we possibly have a mistranscribed middle name ? I know she would be 73 yrs but I wonder whether Halifax might be connected ? ie Cawthorne and Halifax in Yorks .
