John Cunningham 1811 Newry, Co. Down
« on: Tuesday 17 August 10 01:42 BST (UK) »
I would like some help to find the parents of John Cunningham c1811 Newry, Co. Down

I have all his later life in England, from his marriage to Esther Hobbs on 3 Jun 1832 St. Marks, Lambeth, London, Surrey to his death 1865 Lambeth, London, Surrey. Also, census returns 1841 - 1861.

His Irish "side" is a mystery to me. Any help will be much appreciated.

Best regards

Barney

I would also like help with the same person.

One possible lead is that he is the elder brother of James Cunningham, born 1815 in County Down, emigrated to Canada and ultimately to Rochester, NY where he founded Cunningham Carriages. He has a brother born c. 1810 in Down bearing the same name.

Leads following his wife, Hester or Esther Hobbs, have also not been successful.
