The NOTT family name in London, pre 1846...COMPLETED

Hi, Everyone,
So far I have been unable to trace previous generations of the NOTT family in London before 1846.  I have a marriage certificate of Nov 3rd 1846 between John NOTT, gentleman, of 35 Arundel St (his father Francis Nott, cabinet maker); and Vernon Mary Ann HART of 9, Norfolk St. (her father Joseph Hart, gentleman).  The marriage was at St Clement Danes, London.
The bride was born c. 1828/9 in "Ledbury, Herefordshire" according to a later Census.
Does anyone know, or is connected with this NOTT family - maybe they came from a different part of the country (there seem to be many NOTT families in the West Country and Worcs., for instance).
Any sign of them in any London Censuses thereafter in 1851-1871?  They had at least 2 sons, John Fortune Nott, b. 1847 and Frank Adolphus Nott, b. circa 1850.  I have picked them up again from 1881 onwards...

You’ll find more in the 1851 census. John and Vernon lived at 404 Stanhope St, St Pancras. John was born in Cork (brothers Thomas, Elias, Francis) and Vernon was born in Wales. The Notts were a family of Cabinet Makers in Duncan St in Cork in first half of 1800s primarily - with John Nott getting in to Science before moving from Cork to London - patenting improvements to the Electric Telegraph (hence the occupation on the 1851 census)
