My fatherinlaw was born in 1911 in Llanelly had 6brothers ther mother s maiden name was Gritthes thay live at 47, Westbury st Llanelly looked o 1911 cencus cant find them can you help Harmau

       Dont know very much all the brothers were in the army together in the ww11 Royal engineers, one brother WILLIAM LESLIE JONES, sister HILDA JONES there could be a Richard Jones, Persey there father Was HENRY JONES dont know ther mothers name   many thanks Maureen   PS my husband was born in Llanelli in 1946 dont know if it was 47, westbury st, to JOHN HENY JONES and BETTY JOnes

you dont know his wifes name
your husband,s father was John Henry Jones the son of Percy/Henry Jones

If they married then they would not be on the census as a couple at that address census taken april 2nd 1911

Do you know when Elizabeth and Henry died to try and track them you need their ages, or get their marriage certificate. but to really confirm that the mother is  Elizabeth Griffiths you need a bith certificate.
How did you know she was a Griffiths?

When i checked my husbands fathers birth it said mothers maiden name Griffthes my husbands father had a sister called Hilda she married Sidney Williams(uncle sid) she lived near stradda park we went to see her in 1970. On my husbands fathers marriage cert said fathers name Henry Jones decessed that was 1946 so when he died dont no. Also there was three more brothers dont know there names i have a photo of all the brothers in there army uniforms from WW11 many thanks. HENRY JOHN JONES BORN 11th AUG 1911 his father was HENRY JONES so Henry John Jones was my husbands father and Henry Jones was my husbands grandfather.

yes I have given you the bith reg info for Henry Jones 1911 if it gives the mothers name as griffiths does it not give her first name?, but what I am saying is the marriage info I have found for you is correct then the mothers name is elizabeth.
Jones is a hard name to track down.

Between 1916 and 1920 there are 25 births  surname Jones mothers name Griffiths in the district of Llanelly
