Calling all experienced Geneologists.....
« on: Friday 20 August 10 22:08 BST (UK) »
Hello everyone and thanks for reading my post.

I need some help as I have come to a grinding halt rather early on in my search.

I am trying to trace the family of Lousia Florence Allen B. 1922. She lived at 2b forest street, forest gate in 1945 ..................... Trying to trace Louisa  forwards from that date to today. I believe she married .............in  1950 registered in east ham but have lost track after this, I am struggling to see if they had any children. Would love to find her alive or if this is not possible any direct descendant of hers......

Many thanks for your time,

Desperately hoping (fingers crossed one of you wonderful people can solve this for me)

hello Tina and welcome to RootsChat

We are not allowed to post details of anyone whho is (or maybe) living -identity theft etc

We are allowed to send that kind of information through the private message facility - away from eyes of the public boards.

To send/receive PM's you need to have made 3 posts - so if you answer this twice you should be OK.

(please be warned the mods may delete information which they consider to be of the living -but don't worry we all have to learn the rules)

Are you sure of her birth date?

I see this death -
1996
Louisa Florence Scott
age 80
d-o-b 13 Mar 1915
Havering
2341B 192

I see your Louisa's birth in 1922

but there is also a Louisa F Allen born Ap/May/Jun 1915 in Medway Kent

I guess it is possibly that Louisa that married Mr Scott, not your one.

thanks Lizdb.

Definitely correct with the Louisa F Allen in west ham b 1922 marrying in 1950. It's just the searching for children is the problem. Also given up completely on census and electoral register searching on the address....almost to the point of pulling my hair out!!

I really want to do this family tree but I'm finding it really difficult..

Sorry to not let this drop - but have you got the 1922 birth cert, and the 1950 marriage to check that they are the same person?
I still have this feeling that the 1950 marriage to Scott, is the person who has the 1996 death, which goes back to the 1915 birth ...ie the other Louisa F Allen who is around.....

Hi  as per the last post you will have to buy the certs,I hate buying them but to search for people in recent times is much harder than say 150 years ago as you have no census,if you know this persons mothers name then www.freebmd.co.uk may help you  with the 1922 birth as the mothers name will be there for free,if you do not want to buy the marriage cert then you will have to wait until freebmd gets to 1950 it's very near, you maybe lucky try the website.
Best Regards

okay 1950 marriage not on freebmd you say Louisa Allem marriage in 1950 the right one who did she marry if you know that then it maybe possible to find children if you do not know who she married the you have to buy the cert.
Best Regards
