Does anyone know of any childrens homes in the 50's in or near Waltham Cross please?

Waltham Cross today is just outside Greater London in Hertfordshire though I think historically it was in Essex, but certainly in Hertfordshire from the end of the C19th onwards.

It might be worth contacting Hertfordshire Archives and Local Studies and see whether they know.

Hi,

Waltham Cross has always been in Hertfordshire . I think the confusion arises because it is somewhat close to the border of Essex (and Middlesex).
