I am keen to discover more about the McAllum family prior to my Great Grandfather who was Duncan McAllum who married Emma Kate Little on 15th October 1881 and the Fenwick family connected to the McAllum family, one being Lucy Fenwick.

Can you tell us where this marriage took place and which country/county you would expect to find the family in?  Have you found them in any census records?

Duncan McAllum was a Farmer of Newcastle on Tyne, England and Emma Kate Little was from Durham, England.  They married in New Plymouth, New Zealand on 15th October 1881.  They had one daughter Phoebe Fenwick McAllum
